1. Someone left a msg for me on the answering machine asking only that I call a certain p[one number.
2. When I called that number, it turned out the phone was answered with only the last 4 digits of the phone number left earlier for me to call.
3. It turned out that the call was from as Military Intelligence officer conducting a background check of a lawyer I knew fairly well.
4. Not long after, his name disappeared from the JAGC Directory. It returned in a year or two. I have been told that military nenbers are removed from the Army and detailed to the CIA when they are participating in activities that might be an act of war if they had not been acting as CIA.
